Family planner

Ride Heights does not create user accounts or save family plans. Names entered in the planner remain in your browser and are not sent to Ride Heights. When you request results, anonymous numeric height values and non-personal planner settings are transmitted to the Ride Heights application server, used in memory to calculate the requested results, and are not written to a Ride Heights database. Refreshing or closing the page clears the current family plan.

Local browser information

The site may store non-family preferences such as light/dark theme and the time when a PDF export cooldown expires. Older versions of Ride Heights stored a family plan in local storage; the current version deletes that legacy value when the site loads.

Contact messages

If you choose to contact Ride Heights, the name, email address, and message you submit are processed so we can receive and respond to the message. Contact email delivery is handled through our email service provider.

Hosting, security, and advertising

Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may process normal network information such as IP address, browser information, requested URLs, timing, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Google AdSense and its partners may process cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device information, page activity, and advertising interactions according to Google’s policies. Ride Heights does not send family names or planner heights to AdSense.

PDF exports

PDFs are created in your browser from the results already displayed to you. The selected resort name and ordinary network request information may be processed to enforce the export cooldown; family names and heights are not included in the export-authorization request.
